'Cometh and buyeth art'! I have just become a member of ARC, short for Arts Rising Collective. ARC is a Stratford on Avon social enterprise created by a group of local artists and creatives, to support the local creative community and develop a multi-artistic hub in the town.During 'The Bards' birthday celebrations in Stratford upon Avon from the 22nd to 23rd April 2023, The Playhouse will be hosts to ARC, with local artists showcasing their work. 'Broadway Arts Festival, The Place To Be. Right Up There Amongst The Top Festivals In The Uk' The festival runs from the 9th -18th June 2023 with artBEAT from the 9th -11th June. Join me for artBEAT where I shall be participating in the 3 day opening weekend of the festival showcasing my fine art photography alongside the work of some of Britains top artists, designers, and artisans demonstrating their skills and selling their work direct to the public. I have recently joined Leamington Studio Artists, an art community based in Leamington Spa in Warwickshire and I have been so impressed by the quality of work being shown along with the passion and the drive.  The original gallery is still housed in the super cute Park Keepers Cottage in Jephson gardens, and they have now opened a second venue in the heart of the town called 'The Art Room'. A gorgeous colourful unpretentious space with a welcoming attitude to all, selling a wide range of artwork in a variety of genres. With the weather being unseasonably warm this year it's almost easy to forget its nearly December and Christmas will be upon upon us before we know it. I don't know about you but I always leave things to the last minute and end up racing around like a lunatic. This year I hope to be more organised and spend some time looking for unique gifts for my friends and family. As I will be attending Artfest in Leamington Spa this year, I hope I will be able to find some wonderful unique things created by artists who will also be there....

Art is very personal choice, so a gift of artwork says that person understands you or is at least trying. Whether you're into photography, oils or watercolours, ceramics or felt-work, or if you want to make a statement or simply decorate your home, there is room for all. I will be in Leamington Spa on the 3rd December at All Saints Church taking part in Artfest, an wonderful art fair and Christmas tree festival combined. Im hoping it will be as festive and as magical as they say. time is getting on and this year I am adamant I will have it all...
