I have recently joined Leamington Studio Artists, an art community based in Leamington Spa in Warwickshire and I have been so impressed by the quality of work being shown along with the passion and the drive.  The original gallery is still housed in the super cute Park Keepers Cottage in Jephson gardens, and they have now opened a second venue in the heart of the town called 'The Art Room'. With the weather being unseasonably warm this year it's almost easy to forget its nearly December and Christmas will be upon upon us before we know it. I don't know about you but I always leave things to the last minute and end up racing around like a lunatic. This year I hope to be more organised and spend some time looking for unique gifts for my friends and family. As I will be attending Artfest in Leamington Spa this year, I hope I will be able to find some wonderful unique things created by artists who will also be there....

Art is very personal choice, so a gift of artwork says that person understands you or is at least trying. Whether you're into photography, oils or watercolours, ceramics or felt-work, or if you want to make a statement or simply decorate your home, there is room for all.
